You don’t need to be an artist in the traditional sense to draw. And you don’t need to be a professional photographer to take interesting pictures. These are the perfect activities to build a creative habit. All you need is a pen, some paper, and your smartphone and you’re on your way.
Build a Creative Habit by Building Momentum
Seven days can provide the jumpstart you need to build momentum and send you on your way to bringing creativity back into your life. In seven days you can launch a journaling practice. You can combine drawing and writing to create your own illustrated journal. You can incorporate sketches and doodles into your daily to-do list. You can continue to use these photography prompts as a way to become more aware of your surroundings. As you continue to build momentum the opportunities to be creative will begin to present themselves more often throughout each day. The most important thing is to keep going. Keep making things. Keep creativity in your life.
