Everybody seems to have a list of their favorite TED Talks. Do a Google search for favorite TED Talks and you’ll find lists from people that span from five to fifty or more. New TED Talks are released at such a rapid pace, it’s almost impossible to keep up with this amazing content. However, I continue to seek out TED Talks when I’m in need of a jolt of inspiration. They always help me learn something new or push me to think differently about a certain topic. At the moment, these are 5 of my favorites. These talks cover the gamut of stress, procrastination, being an introvert, life lessons from an amazing photographer, and the changing landscape of making money as an artist. Beginning the Journey Into Minimalism
My daughter Chloe and I have taken an interest in the concept of minimalism. We’re both making a conscious effort to eliminate the excess stuff that’s surrounding us while not adding any value to our lives. We’re both big fans of The Minimalists and have been inspired by their documentary which is on Netflix (see trailer above), so much so that we’ve watched it multiple times.
